Can someone tell me what was the cause of the " press and release clutch pedal before setting cruise" solution is? I have a 2014 pete 388 with an mx13. Pto cruise works at standstill. According to my prolink, all looks normal.
I have vehicle speed, clutch sensor is normal, service brake normal, set, resume, cruise switches all normal. New sensor for fun also.

For using the PTO or rolling down the road?
-
Works fine while parked. Does not work going down the road. That is where I get the press and release clutch pedal is moving down the road.

You typically do not use PTO devices while moving because of how they take power off the main shaft of the transmissionThe one california kid Thanks this.

Sounds like switch for the clutch is bad, normally the clutch will disengage the cruise when depressed, so if the switch is faulty then it might cause this, could be a simple adjustment of the switch.

I understand how the pto works.
As stated in my first post, I did replace the sensor with zero change. The puzzling part is that it works sitting still, I have road speed from the abs and at ecm. The sensors all are reading as they should. -
Check your grounds, probably something simple, check the connectors for something not plugged in well or loose, broken or frayed wire. Just have to check everything no simple fix.
