What do you do now if you have a morning appointment? You set your alarm early enough to wake up, do whatever you do to get ready, drive to the appointment, arrive on time or a little early. Do that in the truck.
The ELD shows when your 10 hour break is up, not when you wake up.
Have you thought about other jobs?
so after I wake up from sleeping inside the truck

I always shower at the end of the day, shortly before going to bed.
Rideandrepair, Numb, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
The 10 hour break does not have to be spent entirely in the sleeper. Only requirement is line 1 & 2 have to equal 10.

NO, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY START DRIVING!
Sheesh, it isn’t rocket surgery. Set your alarm, wake up, do all the things you need to do before going to work. Then, when it’s time to work, you log in and start your day.Lumper Humper, TripleSix, Rideandrepair and 7 others Thank this. -
I’ll add that it’s both faster and cheaper to bring food with you and eat breakfast in your truck.
Rideandrepair, Diesel Dave, Lite bug and 4 others Thank this. -
Rideandrepair and Wargames Thank this.
