Volvo only engages ODD GEARS..EVEN GEARS feels like NEUTRAL

Housing is around 1400 gasket kit another 350 labor for housing calibration and install trans all in is around 1300 so in my shop between 3k to 3500 all in for housing alone.
If clutch needs to be changed it gets more expensive but there is access to cheaper European parts that work really well when it comes to clutch. Hope this helps

 

Parts were around $ 6500 ( CONTROL HOUSING, CLUTCH, ACTUATOR, SELONOID, FLY WHEEL RESURFACE, PILOT BEARING, REAR MAIN SEAL, SEALING KIT and also needed CRANK CASE PRESSURE SENSOR for a CODE that was coming up.

PLUS 10 hours labour.

I think i got out lucky...drove from CHICAGO to TORONTO in odd gears with a load and saved on TOW

 

AND these prices were with CORES ...otherwise almost double
