Sounds like my days at Knight, except most of mine were fresh college graduates. Fun days for sure.

And the next time you say anything about not having seen any accidents in a while I'm not agreeing with you like I did yesterday, today was a war zone. Even my detours had detours.

And she wonders why I was massively pissed with her. "Well, you should still be able to make it" - yeah, it was theoretically possible with two hard days of driving, and I'd still have missed dinner.Speed_Drums, Sirscrapntruckalot, austinmike and 8 others Thank this. -
Central Transport driver cashed out on 65 when he got tangled up with some Fed Ex pup trucks. Haven't seen a cab destroyed like that in years.
Lost load across I-55.
Just to name a few.austinmike, Sons Hero, Dale thompson and 3 others Thank this. -

Well apparently 2700 miles in 4 .5 days isn't good enough for these people and to be honest my DM and I locked horns yesterday and although I didn't cuss or raise my voice when we chatted I let him him have it with both barrels leaving little doubt as to my position...in my pre employment interview they agreed on 2500 miles a week with mostly day driving and the have changed they're mind so today after unloading in Illinois they are deadheading me 200 miles back to cedar rapids for a sit down where I suspect I will be fired or I will quit if I don't agree to they're terms .
I'm tired of this BS and I'm to old and sore to sit in that seat 11 hours everyday so I suspect tmw will be the end of 40 years ..all these companies give a dam about these days is max production and they don't care
about zero accidents or spotless MVRs .
Remember that buick I bought last year ? That I was gonna Uber with ? But never did ...it will be coming out of the garage and going to work and I'll do small engine work on the side .
Hasn't even been a full week back otr and my legs and ankles are already swelled up again with a crap diet ...ive had it !Space Truckin, Speed_Drums, Sirscrapntruckalot and 13 others Thank this.
