Apparently. I guess to pull combination units you have to go to a 2-3 day course.

WY was a no go as predicted.

TX and NM may trip him up too, as he hasn’t received either states requirements.

That's annoying. I don't even know what you would do for 3 days "training".

My first time pulling 12 I loaded it up and just took off from WI to CA.

    Update.

Load got delivered this morning. A full 2 weeks from when BOB booked it, 11 days from when he loaded it, and 9 days driving 3,000 miles to deliver it.

Escorts came to $17,000 - he says permits $1,000 - So, $35k minus $18,000 in permit/escort leaves $17,500 - or $12,950 to the truck. Deadhead 600 miles to shipper. so somewhere around $3.50/mile to the truck all miles.

BOB advanced $11k on the load, so his red file will get reduced from $14k to $12k.

He blew 2 tires, needs a brake chamber, a mudflap, an inspection on his trailer - and another load to get a cash advance on.

Oh - the police showed up at the port looking for him. For the last 2 days BOB got called several times from a guy that SAID he was the LS agent, and BOB sent this guy a picture of his drivers license, plate number and bills - and kept blowing up his phone wanting location and delivery ETA.

    Fun stuff.

Tug Toy, tramm01, CAXPT and 11 others Thank this.
