I used to do that ALL day long as well as jumping out of cabovers. Now it hurts just to see someone else jump.
Sounds like you’re well on your way to a full recovery.
The second time for me was no fun. After about a week it got infected so they had to undo it, clean it and redo it. Then they put my leg in a full cast to protect me from germs, plus IV antibiotics for a month. That one took some serious stretching to get it working properly

Thanks I was very fortunate to get one of the best surgeons in town, he actually did my mother in laws knee replacement, the guy has like a 95% success rate on his op’s and is the surgeon other doc’s go to.

I had to get on and off the step today, its a learning experience and thankfully I am able to kneel on the repaired leg so that helps but I am a long way from being as quick as I was pre-injury securing and unsecuring. After sitting for three months the truck decided to throw fit (common fuel rail pressure error) and she threatened to derate so I’m now sitting at a dealership waiting for the good news lol.

I am definitely being careful because everyone I have spoken with tells me the second time round would be much worse and I really didn’t enjoy the first time round all that much! Thanks for the encouragement its appreciated!

When you have a load of pipe with racks in the A.M. then need to go pick up load of lumber in the PM.
IMG_6512.jpeg IMG_6519.jpeg Man handle the racks to the front.:cool:

I like jobs like this. New machines come in on otr trucks. Rigger uncrates the machines, puts them on me and I back them into the building. 45k lbs on the first 1. 38k lbs on the second. 20240805_113226.jpg 20240805_110727.jpg 20240805_111552.jpg 20240805_140515.jpg
