I just started with this company i was supposed to be home saturday, i live in missouri, they sent me to north carolina to atlanta. From atlanta back to north carolina. I reminded him i was supposed to be back home 4 days ago, he said oops my bad and got me a load to little rock arkansas. He then called me and said the load was rescheduled to drop in burmingham. Then he tried to give me a load back to atlanta. Again away from home. I feel like they are doing this on purpouse.

And you know... sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself and say NO!!!

If you let them walk all over you, they will continue to do so.

I told them they have until 10am tmrw after my reset to find me a load home or ill just drive home myself. If i can waste 8 hours sitting waiting for them to find a load i can drive 5 hours back home

At my company a home time request is a valid reason to refuse a load that is not at least getting you closer to home.

Western Express is good for that too. I had to be somewhat opportunistic with my hometime when I worked there. If you pass through the house for 10 hrs, then they try to call that hometime too. Eventually you have to say no to a dispatch and tell remind them what was supposed to happen. You need to switch dispatchers for real. If that don't work, tell them you got summoned for jury duty lol.
