    Hey there.

I’m finding myself once again running I95 north from Savannah to Philly… not enough clocks to get to Baltimore I can’t remember if there’s any parking between DC and Baltimore. Looks like a northbound Weigh Station south of DC. Anything north of that or best to stop short and start fresh in the morning?

    Thanks

There's the rest area about halfway between 'em, but gotta get there early to get a spot.

There's also the TA in Jessup, if you are feeling exceptionally brave and don't mind paying for parking.

Other than that, the northbound weigh station is it.

    Thanks.

ya, timing is an issue too. It will be all of 2100 by the time I hit the Northbound Weigh Station as it is.

reserving a spot at TA is an option too. Again, thanks

Finally got rolling 2300 Tuesday night after wrecker folks primed the truck and jump started me. Drove all night and stopped in Al for a nap and shower then got to WM yard 1030 yesterday morning and put truck in shop since the camera had no power to it and wasn’t working. Safety be up my DM and my butt if it wasn’t fixed. Got a Louisville l, Ky run put on me and crashed and slept til 0400 since I had been up for 30 hrs. Couldn’t sleep while on the side of the road in fear of getting hit by one of flip flop non-paying attention idiots. Getting unloaded now and DH to Groveport to drop this reefer off and go see if my 23 Volvo is fixed at the Knight yard. Fighting to get paid breakdown pay for the 17 hrs I was on the side of the road, guaranteed they going to try and not pay me since it wasn’t 24 hrs. One more load by Sat and I’ll be good still mikes wise this week.

Well, last time I lost it and screamed I had a mini-stroke and almost passed out behind the wheel so I have learned to stay calm for my own health. I kept calling hoping the breakdown folks would send someone else when Petro was taking forever but no go. I keep spare parts and filters in my 23 Volvo and tools to fix stuff but couldn’t grab everything since a driver was giving me a ride to a loaner plus I figured my truck would be done by end of last week so I only grabbed bare necessities. I wouldn’t have been broke down like that if I had the filters I keep on me, easy fix to replace fuel filters.

Get to the Knight yard in Columbus to get my truck and start it up and exhaust whooshing out then it stops. They are calling the volvo tech back out, they think it might be a bad clamp. Hopefully just a clamp. I don’t want CO poisoning so might be in this truck little longer.
