Thank you, I hope so too and so does my DM because this loaner Im in is assigned to Wytheville so all the revenue goes to their terminal I make in this truck. Knight techs couldn’t believe all the DPF components on the right side of the engine needed replaced already in a 23 Volvo with only 57k on the clock. They also couldn’t believe Abilene let this loaner truck go with an expired annual DOT inspection for five months when I rolled through their shop to get it done.

    Lonesome and ExtremeUnction Thank this.

I agree with you on that. I wager the tech reused clamps instead of putting new ones on. If it were me I would definitely put new ones on.

Friday got sent a load to pick up off the swift yard and take it to Lancaster Leaf to drop. Dropped that Saturday morning then bounced to A.Duie Pyle to grab and empty to drop at Ikea in Md then grabbed a load there to Norfolk which I tried to make it Saturday but Baltimore/DC/Northern Virginia traffic messed that up so dropped it Sunday but ended trip Saturday to get the miles on this check. Ikea wanted a couple empties moved off property so got an extra 285 miles to run back and forth. Started a 34 cuz I only had 8 hrs left on my 70 but Monday morning my terminal manager decided to arrange a driver to pick me up and take me to my truck in Ohio cuz it was fixed finally so packed up most of my stuff and got dropped off last night. Forgot a few things in the loaner so they got me a load back to Richmond to get it. Live loaded in downtown St. Louis going to Phillip Morris but won’t make the 0900 appt no matter how I work it cuz I didn’t get loaded until shortly after 1600 and evening rush hour was going on. Probably get there 1200 tomorrow. Unless the planner needs to reschedule and I end up dropping on the yard. Nice to have my truck back and it is running properly. Nice to be able to pull hills with it without getting bogged down so much.

Not much to report around these parts. I'm having to stay close to the yard due to an upcoming doctor's appointment. They offered me some Michigan loads on Monday that I couldn't take because I wouldn't be able to make it back to Richmond in time for the appointment. They gave me a short run to Kingston, NC that fell through, so they gave me another load to haul an empty to Wytheville and pick up a load there. When I got to Wytheville, I discovered that the load had already been delivered.

Currently delivering a load of Gatorade to Frederick, MD. Doesn't deliver until tomorrow morning. Gonna test the waters and see if I can deliver it 24 hours early.

In and out Phillip Morris pretty quick. Three stop Marlon special next to Willmington, Nc and West Palm Beach, Fl.

Answer to this question is "yes", btw. Their delivery hours are 2am to 1pm and they don't have appointment times. I was told that as long as someone is here, they'll take you.

You can also park on-site. The entrance to their lot has a small area next to the curb where you can park and not block the gate. Only room for one truck, though, so no guarantees that it'll be available when you get here.

But yeah, should you find yourself delivering to the Pepsi warehouse at 631 Solarex, Frederick, MD, you can pretty much ignore whatever time the load assignment says to get here.

Got to my first stop in Wilmington this morning and found out I had to unload myself cuz they said their insurance does not allow them into other companies’ trucks. Four boxes of furniture off and 13 more to go for tomorrow morning then bounce an hour south to reload dropping on Richmond yard tomorrow. Much needed good week miles wise to get back on track with all the breakdown issues. Thankfully the furniture isn’t heavy cuz Im technically not supposed to lift more than 50 pounds above my waist after two back surgeries and all the titanium in my lower back thanks to uncle sam breaking me, lol!

Sorry about your back! Unka Sam didn't tell me that I was building bombs with spent uranium. That gave me colon cancer and the ostomy to go with it. Very happy they took responsibility for it.
