Schneider is the lowest paying company out there. The ads about pay are inaccurate.

I think Benny Whitehead requires teams the first 12 months. Better ask about that.

Chinatown can correct me , you might find a job that will allow home time every night . Think some pay pretty well , maybe not for a rookie but idk.

Benny Whitehead for you will be team driving; they are out of Eufaula, AL.

I'm a Schneider veteran. If you have qtns later about them, I'll do my best.

From what the recruiter said it's 1 year training and generally everyone runs teams. They do have some solo drivers but they only have them in the southeast.

This carrier may still hire you out of FL -- where others may not:

Wiley Sanders -- based in Troy, AL

Inquire within -- to find out their rider program criteria, what freight types they do, etc.

They normally have a pretty good training curriculum for new CDL holders.

Their fleet consists of newer Kenworth tractors.

You’re just playing with words to try to justify a stupid idea.Camper life and or van life are different ideals not the same as trucking. But you tell me why is raising your child in a truck stop a good idea if you have all these other skills and education

I brought my girls on the truck with me for a month or two during the summer. One at a time because, wow, there is not room for more than that.
Swift does not allow it during winter months, and they have to be 12 or older.

But kids need other kids to interact with when they are growing up. It would be totally unfair to a child to have them cooped up on a truck all the time with no play time and others around them. They would grow up damaged.
