All of a sudden I'm getting a lot of miles but off my normal routes away from my home terminal. Just wondering if companies can monitor the website and see current drivers looking for other jobs.

What would keep them from doing so?

Just because your resume is on Drivers pulse doesn't mean you're actively seeking a job. The only way they'd know is if the jobs you applied to call your current job asking if you work there.

Supposedly Tenstreet has a feature, that your employer can pay extra for, that "pings" your employer when you apply to another company that uses Tenstreet.

If all you did was post your resume, I wouldn't think it would be a problem. But who knows anymore?

I thought an older post once mentioned there is a service companies can subscribe to that does what you are asking about. There is also the possibility once any company verifies your current employer your employer acts like you are leaving.

I told them not to but that might not stop them.

In your case I don't know, but I've seen some old posts that say some hiring companies contact old employers without regard to driver request not to.

    JC1971 Thanks this.

Initially, no, they don’t look or notify your present employer.
Once you get past the initial stages and they start seriously looking at you, yes, your current employer will be notified as verification of employment.

While I'm not familiar with Tenstreet.....
    Let's analyze this a bit.
You put your resume out there for companies to see & look at for potential employment possibilities...
That's the whole purpose of the software is so employers can subscribe, to search for new employees.
Why wouldn't they be able to see it? I mean, they maybe looking around the site for a new driver to replace you.

Just tell them you put your resume up in case anything happens with the current company. A lot of places going belly up.

I put my resume up for other career fields if they call my current company and they take offense I do not care one bit.

Maybe it helps the situation and they route you better, give you a raise or they decide they need to hire another driver and treat you worse. In that case you know it’s time to move on.

Trucking companies can be some #### strange employers lol.
