The old fld were pretty solid trucks, far cry from the junk Daimler is making now,

actually the only reason I ended up with My truck is because it has the B cab on it, I actually can’t stand the newer aerocab layouts, running mine for as long as the government will let me or until
I had enough and decide to make it a dedicated show truck, but my next one will probably be a 589

I don't know the FLD that I saw pics of that I think was yours was a dam good looking truck, but I have a soft spot for them. I personally don't like the wide cab, have driven alot of the wide cabs from Volvo's ,Peterbilt and a few Cascadias and just could never get comfortable in them. I enjoy how quiet the newer trucks are though. I fully agree on you should be able to enjoy what you drive though, if it is not enjoyable to drive then I think you are in this for the wrong reason

    Long FLD Thanks this.
