Not having a pesky clutch has some benefits.

Dust is part of the job.

But, there are no wires hanging all over the place, no trash on the floor, it's greased, and no oil leaks. It's a 35 year old truck that's earning it's keep. Now while you all are putting your aprons on and doing your housework, I'm gonna go get another load! Lol

I used to deliver spotter trucks for a company in Georgia. Only a couple of us doing the trucks , the company had trucks that pulled reefers and they were also a brokerage. Everyone in the office knew me , so I never got check calls except on the weekends. They'd have college kids in there calling. They'd be asking load temp, did you have any lumper fees , ETA. I used to have fun telling them all kinds of crap.

Oh, I'm not a critic. I understand both. Mine sometimes in the middle. I'm amazed at people like @Long FLD. Out of all of our guys I have two that are just like him, and it totally amazes me how they can keep a truck that clean all the time. my hat is off to them and people like them. We play a little game sometimes where we take a picture of our sleeper and passenger seat and text each other to see what it looks like. I'm like all right don't clean it up. You got to take a real picture
maybe start a thread about that. It could get quite interesting.
