Escrow is $1000 and you don’t get it back. They ‘charge’ the driver for repairs then write them off on taxes. It’s a scam. Foreign owners and staff. Micromanaging brokers, dispatchers, and ‘dispatch helpers’. They have miles, but it’s cheap freight, heavy loads, or long waits to get loaded/unloaded. AGM is a prime example of a company who underbids loads just to keep moving regardless of the overall impact on the industry. Communication is terrible. One broker called me 4 times and texted 8 times within a 4 hour period, just constantly requesting load updates even though the load was being tracked on Macropoint. I finally asked if he wanted the keys to the truck so he can deliver the load himself. (The load: cardboard)
Positive reviews elsewhere are solicited from new drivers or are company employees.

Update: Just received an email from AGM saying management has reviewed my request for my refund and decided to return the full amount. The process has already begun and I will receive the money shortly.
Side note: I wonder…are they investing this money? It seems like they’re making something on escrow deposits. Even if it’s just an interest bearing account that compounds. Can you imagine $1000 x 200 drivers, increasing constantly because they’re always hiring (revolving door) and deducting escrow from each newbie? Let’s say they invest $200k in their portfolio or account initially, but add another 20k each month? For 20 years?

A legal "Escrow" requires the funds to be placed in an interest-bearing account with both yours and the company's name on it. I guarantee this did not occur, thus its not "escrow" at all.
