I'm a ways away from that right now but I would appreciate that. File it away in my notebook for now.

Son in law and I went out looking at deer trails for sign today. Found some pics of Coyote on the trail cam, and some evidence of there presence…..

Interesting kill on a floating dock. And is that a black locust?

Looks like the bucks are gettin ready out your way. Won't be much longer. That deer on the dock is odd. Any idea how it ended up that way?

That's awesome! Congrats to that young man. He doesn't look at all concerned about the size. I don't think his smile coulda handled a bigger buck just yet.

Freezer is empty at home besides catfish and buffalo. I've been after bear pretty hard when I'm home, but will be focusing on deer pretty quick.

It's so dry at home, I've turned my efforts towards dry creeks going for bear.

Wednesday I still hunted up 7 miles of this creek bottom. Something I've never noticed before, but lots of rocks turned up in the creek. Not rooted up like a hog, just turned a bit, and maybe some digging underneath.

About 3 miles up that dry creek I found a muddy hole of water, while all the other holes were clear.

I'm pretty sure I would have at least seen one had I gone back Thursday, but a customer needed rock ran to SLC.

In the upper 90's at home this weekend, and no rain in the forecast, so maybe I'll get another chance before the orange army hits the woods.

While I took a break for lunch Wednesday, this lil guy decided to join me.
