So far he has applied at Schneider, Stevens Transport, and Rhoel. That was on the 15th. So far the only call back he has gotten back was from Schneider to tell him they are not hiring people with no experience in Oklahoma right now but they would keep his application on file for a year in case it changed.
He forgot to apply at Maverick and is doing so now.
Can you all advise on some others trucking companies? He just graduated trucking school in May and has no experience. Is on CPAP but his DOT card is good for a year now. He needs work now!!!

As you have already experienced -- it's a really tough job market right now....for transportation.
As mentioned above -- try May Trucking. I have seen job ads from them of late for new drivers.
Also -- try Knight Transportation; I've seen ads from them for new drivers, as well.

How about Frymiller website say they hhire new drivers but don’t know if they are currently hiring. Seem like years ago they had good reputation. They are in Oklahoma. They have Finishing Program for new driver with CDL

He did try that prior and it was an endless song and dance. He first tried to get a plumbers apprenticeship through the pipefitters union but only got to roll number 93 of 178 applicants so he had to wait on 85 guys ahead of him to either wash out of the training program or get canned. That was about two years ago and when he applied and the second year he got around the same number again so he gave up. At the same time he also applied for the Journeyman electrician program through the union and even though he has 4 family members in that same union, all trying to pull strings for him, they only bring on like 10 new trainees a year and had around 400 applicants. The grass is not greener on the other side of the fence. -
