Lol, so no cruise control with the headlights on? so basically half the day, and they expect you to pick up a relay on your 10 hour break?, and they call you and bother you on it as well, this company is a joke, no wonder the only drivers they can get are too lazy and overweight to get out and properly slide there tandoms.

 

Pardon me for saying this, but I knew big Sean was a recruiter from the very beginning. If it smells bad, it usually is. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. Just my .02.

 

I think almost if not all of us knew that about him. I think @MACK E-6 and the others mods wanted to let him out himself.

I'm surprised they didn't go under in this market. You have to be a sucker for punishment to drive there.

Probably very few OTR jobs these days offer the ability to consistently drive 62+ hours in six days then reset the seventh, but the goal is worth knowing about. In early 2020 I lucked into a hiring with a medium-sized western 11 dry van company that knows how to keep its trucks rolling. They have lots of trailers and do lots of drop-hook. In 2022, for every month except July I averaged about 4000 miles/week there in a truck governed at 65. The six-on-one-off approach was just one piece of the puzzle, but it was a big one.
