They have pretty decent hot box food. The burritos are usually good. Most of the ones out west have pretty limited parking. I’m surprised to see this one having 50 spots.

Schwan’s expanded their facility here in town (a massive 15 story freezer) and have more truck traffic as a result. There’s two small truck stops at the Crawford St exit but other than that, there’s nothing on 135. All the truck parking is on the north side of town on 70, and Water Well Road has a bunch of space for development

I felt bad for the normal SAV crew as they are ALWAYS on their game but someone tossed wrenches into their normal flow with all these outbound loads.

So anyway, I was obviously not going to make 1600 next day so sent ETA of 0800 the following day and enjoyed the slow roll through the hills.

today I get an update on delivery. Now instead of FCFS, it’s an appointment for 1500… on 11/22.

I guess they were even less prepared to receive these loads in OH as the were in GA to ship them out.

So I’m shut down and after two days of slow rolling, I will now be babysitting these Big Boy Toys for another 2.5 days… LOL

I bet Kawasaki will be writing a big check for this Transport plus Three Day Mobile Storage plus Driver Babysitting Services.

Any good movies to suggest?

Another driver I know is stuck on that same shat show. Sorry, I would be demanding to get paid for all the downtime.

I am in the same situation, I got unloaded in savannah at 8:00, waited 5 hours to get reload. Got reload going to Ohio as well. Told dispatch I could be there this morning by 7 am, yesterday got updated plan for 7am delivery on 11/22. Now sitting at the loves in Bissell, oh. I guess I am taking a 34, I was planning on running recaps til I go home for Thanksgiving.
