They had a pretty sexy 567 that I was forced to look at and may have tested it out a little

Caught up ! Went to the mall in Little Austin. Haven’t been in a mall in a long time. It’s nice. Mom wants to go after thanksgiving. Didn’t buy a single thing.

Why that’s Cabbage hill otherwise known as the Cabbage. Which leads you up to Deadman pass. Heading east it’s a 6% X 6 mile climb. If you’re heading west at 80k just ignore the big sign at the top :)

The O/O pulling the Amazon Male Organ trailer was long before you even get to the pass. Just one of those deals when the right lane is wet and clean and the left is greasy as fluff, he chose the wrong lane, lol. Was basically just roadside entertainment for us weary travelers.

The whole shutdown (6.5 hours) Was because of the “Bomb Cyclone” which kicked up 70-80 mph winds and a RV’r couldn’t hang, lol. Ruined it for everyone so they shut it down out of safety concerns.

It’s only proper. Best filling for fresh baked biscuits.

If you like grits, you might take a look at these. You can mail order them. We usually get 3 at a time. You can store in the freezer. I usually measure out the grits, then boil the water, so they do thaw a bit, you can cook straight from frozen.

And you go to cross on a bridge. Lucky men these days, we had to cross on a ferry in 1954. Back our FB trailer on side by side, put our tractors on nose to nose. He could carry us across. Go up the road a mile to the compress; load, and have go up to Memphis to cross back. Ferry couldn't carry us loaded...

Same way here with our tent camper to Branson in about 1964
