Not having the records made me hesitant no doubt but she ran super good so I took the chance on it. Fingers crossed it works out well.

Actually, it was a company truck, even jackknifed in a ditch couldn't kill it. I put a lot of miles on that truck, pulling a dump trailer just like that, it never let me down. The components are just so much tougher than other trucks, the saying was, "if you kill a Mack, you shouldn't be in a truck". The truck I drove was a '75 R 686, 300 Poopydyne, and 2 stick 6 speed, probably a bit different than yours, but in the 70s, I did a lot of dump trucks work, and at least 90% were Macks. I hope yours has air ride,,,

hahaha hey I like that saying! Before this truck I was looking at a tri-axle Mack with super low miles that also had a twin stick, and I’ve never driven one.

That would’ve been sweeeeet, the super liners are hard to come by. I’d assume a superliner with an E 9 would be a unicorn

DO NOT under any circumstances, spill it in your bunk storage compartment. Positively abominable to clean up! There’s a reason I know this. Somehow the crummy cap came off, and I-had a world class mess. Does last a long time on a 5th wheel though.
