Without a fail, in every discussion about any kind of problem, be it a freight recession, certain car brand defects, bad internet provider problems or whatever, there is always a person that has to chip in and say that they are doing great and got no problems.

I am glad you guys are doing well and thank you for sharing.

Well then, maybe you can tell me why in the midst of all this “recession” talk I’m still getting hammered with 16,18, 20 stop days, because I sure as hell don’t understand it. I was actually hoping I could look forward to something of a break through the winter.

Is this a rhetorical question? Or are you saying there is no freight recession out there?

The tarriffs in may were towards Chinese ev and related products to ev.

And it was most definitely heard about.

China is taking over the world with ev. Lots of new manufacturers coming to the game. They've dethroned tesla as the new king of ev.

2025 is bringing tarriffs across the board.

One can’t help but question it if he’s still getting 55 hour weeks.

Owner operators running for 2 dol a mile on the spot market, also work 70 hours a week or more, if they run on paper or know how to cheat ELDs. Sure, their view on the recession is different than drivers working for Walmart, Sysco, Kroger or Ashley Furniture.

And that's all good until there's a sudden death, the company shuts down and does Yellow.

Steel and aluminum, solar cells, ship to shore cranes, and medical supplies are EV related?

Well I am an O/O, with own customers, loads and won't EVEN look at starting my truck for under $3 per mile and yes I can afford to do that.
Those that can't haven't planned for the worst which is what I do.
