    I was going to say the same. The only catfish I have had came out of Brownlee reservoir on the Snake, and they all tasted like mud. Now small mouth bass out of the Snake, fileted and deep fried in a good batter, mmmmm good.

    Used to get delicious fresh cooked catfish for lunch at Catfish Parlor in Austin. Then. Then they started cooking it ahead of time and putting it under a F heat lamp for lunch , ala truck stop :mad: They lost me after that move.
