Yeah man most definitely. Not everyone keeps up an older truck like you and Dune T do. Just think of all the people running new ones doing practically zero maintenance. Well, those same type of people are doing it with older trucks and keeping it together with duck tape and baling wire. If it’ll go, drive it until the wheels literally fall off.

when I rebuilt my older reefer after it got hit to keep as a spare, I started looking at maybe just buying a newer fleet spec trailer over spending the money on the old one, I was shocked at how the supply crunch had basically let everyone turn even 5-7 year old trailers into nothing but scrap,Rideandrepair, Midwest Trucker, Gatordude and 2 others Thank this.

I will check into that, but when we tried different Vin numbers with my insurance agent, to see if there gonna be a price difference, liability price was not changing, only physical damageOpendeckin, Rideandrepair and Iamoverit Thank this.

Wabash got hit with a $462m judgement because the rear bumper failed on a 20 year old trailer. I can’t recall if the trucking company was even named in the lawsuit or not.
