Down for my ten, today wife woke up with a major reaction to some medicine, so I went to Wal-Mart to talk to the Pharmacist, he recommended the Benadryl every six hours, and that I need to watch her closely.
On a happier note, I got my 3000 miles in for the week, and started good for next week.
Going to relax now, Keep it safe out there. We are all needed. Here is a quote for today>
"If you tell the truth, You don't have to remember anything!" > Mark Twain -
Sorry if i hit a nerve... Considering alot of other drivers i talk to are only getting 1800-2100, then i would consider 2400-2700 decent. Company drivers dont have to worry about deadhead since they dont have to pay for the fuel anyway.

Who in the world was JJ's DM? The planners plan the loads, but the DM is the middle person to let the planners know what is needed. Use to be somewhat a easy job for DM'S UNTIL NOW!! they no longer know what loads are available, it was taken away due to some DM'S, (THEY SAY) were saving loads for drivers who became friends and was even giving the DM money bonus's. Now I don't know if it is true, but it is what I heard. Then I wonder, what is to stop the planners from doing the same #### thing! There are some really nice professional planners, like any where, the good , the bad, and the ugly. I know of about three planners that want nothing to do with talking to a driver! They should, in my opinion, not be in the trucking industry at all, if you want nothing to do with drivers, the very ones that help put that Steak, etc on their #### table.
Ok better calm down, LMAO. Same ol" Same Ol" btw, the worse DM's I have dealt with were JH and his sidekick. JH is no longer with the company.

My first DM was giving me almost 3k miles. Then he went and got himself fired or something. My current DM is ok to me. Miles dropped slightly though. now im getting about 2600 a week. Last week was a bad week for me with only 2300 mainly because I didnt turn in my last trip pak in time. Pick up was 1600 and I got there at about 1615.

The longer I sit in Dallas, the more po'd I get. Supposed to be home 4/20-4/23 for anniversary!!! That's shot to heck. Now I have sat in Big D for 24 hrs and was told the Planners went home, but if something needs rescue they will try to use me. I just had a forced 34 hr reset because customer is NOT open on weekends!

Well I sure blew my cork today. Just hope I didn't burn any bridges with my DM who is really good. Was supposed to have been home today but because I had to sit in Plainview for 3 days....Kind of find it hard to believe that I sat there just so they could get me a load with enough time to get by one of our shops and get a PM B done on the truck.
Got the load I was on to our yd in Olathe and was given a preplan as I was heading there. A load going to Ardmore. Get there (1215) and find ouit the tlr is in the shop. "no worries, suppose to be out in a hr". Yea right. Went and checked on it and was told they had till 2200. I just totally lost it!!!! Cussing on the QC and everything. DM calls me to try and chill me out and was cussing at him also. Bad bad day for me!!!
Did go back and apologize to the shop guy cause it wasn't his fault. Heck, he even had guys drop what they were doing to get my tlr rdy so I could leave. Really nice guy.
To top off everything else!!!! #### BOL's weren't in the tlr and the drvr who brought it in had to be hunted down. -
Yea it did hit a nerve!! As I have said in many posts drivers come to the forum for a few months and then we never hear from them again, JJ posted on here why he quit Central, the same reason there is always a vacant truck for some Newb to step into!
When a company has a turnover rate of 110% it sorta lets ya know how good the company is to work for, if they don't have the freight for the drivers they have why the hell are they putting 30 new ones on a week??????
His FM was a female LH and she sucked!! She was good friends with Wally (LP) and JJ seemed to get stuck with Wallies rubbish loads 500 miles with three days on it.
He continually sent messages asking to drop the load and was told I am working on it........Just never happened.
Even when he trained he had to keep a few students out an extra week because they didn't have the miles to upgrade.
We have a friend that is also a L/O still with Central and he picked up a load today 1600 miles that has an appointment time on Monday (he has a student on his truck ATM) and he will have the load at his 99 on Friday. Even as a Solo driver that load had wayyyyyyyyyyy to much time on it!
I miss the Shiny red Pete with the APU but don't miss the Central BS! -
Congratulations on your anniversary...darned newlyweds!
