Just wondering why they sent you home via a bus after orientation? Usually you get a truck, or if a rookie a trainer, or they send you to go get a truck. Only time I got sent home via a bus after orientation was my very first job and while they didnt tell us the reason a driver told us they bring in 100 people every monday and only hire 25. There were 28 of us at the end of orientation and only me and two others didnt get assinged a truck or trainer. Next day the 3 of us were sent home. Regardless I knew when I left I didn't have the job.
Am I supposed to get paid for this or no?

In every orientation I've attended, conditional job offers are made before you arrive. If the company didn't have a job for you, they wouldn't spend the money to get you to orientation and cover your stay. If you get sent home, it's either because they're waiting on something, found negative information, or you tested positive on the drug test or failed the physical.
I'm sorry, but I have to agree with post #5, something is missing! -

After reading through the thread. I also think you were sent home because they had too many applicants for the number of trucks they wanted to fill. If they had found something they wouldn't tell you to try again in 6 months.
