You need to find out what the codes are, then most likely you’ll have to have DDDL8 to get it out of derate after repairs are made.

It is likely, at the least, the dpf needs to be removed and cleaned and then flow tested to see if it can be reused. Frequent regens can be signs of aftertreatment components nearing end-of-life. DPF, DOC's and other related parts do degrade and do no last forever. If you are seeing any white or greyish coloured smoke, that is a sign the DOC is degraded and may not be making proper temps for a successful regen to complete. You may also have an engine air handling issue, such as failing egr valve to also cause this. There situations where the problem isn't causing a fault code, but you do experience this symptom first. Your next steps are getting the regen quality, engine health and DPF restriction tested.

Oggie, 062 and AModelCat Thank this.
