Might as well go all the way for best MPG. That’ll help make the payment. Whatever it takes. Automatic trans? Embrace the future, don’t leave one foot behind. I see new Volvos with Volvo engines, auto trans getting 8-9 mpg vs. Coronado gliders w/ 12.7 getting 7. It adds up, $600-$800 per mo.towards payments.

That did not improve as much as the general rumor says. For a solo o/o it still can be hit and miss. Fleets can mitigate the down time with other units, while a solo on a downtime is hard to make up for. Cummins x15 has been phenomenal since 2017. Now who knows what the 2027 emissions will bring or if it’ll get nixed. Time will tell.
Dealer tells me if 2027 goes into play it’ll

Right. I'm not sure exactly the math I was using, but $1500 is still a big chunk of change in your pocket each month. But 7mpg is pretty unlikely, especially with some of the setups you see.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
