I was a huge fan of Truckstop (TS.) I was a member of the load board until TS started a dispatch service. I believe it a conflict of interest, siphoning off all the good loads before they hit the load board, giving them to the highest paying companies. Before the dispatch service, I used to recommend TS to everyone.
Now RMIS wants ID’s and selfies!!!. “Your circle of trust is now stronger than ever!” “It’s for your protection!” “Thank you for your cooperation as we work to make RMIS and Truckstop the most trusted solutions in the freight industry!”
Has TS/RMIS asked the other partners is this business (owners/drivers) what they think??? I believe TS/RMIS having my insurance certificate, and payment information/bank account should be ID enough! Funny how the globalists want ID’s and selfies all day! Whilst I travel around with tape on my cameras, TS wants me to give up my ID and post selfies for my own good. I will not comply!

Please do not comply with TS;RMIS's new requirement of ID's and selfies!

I know why they have the id/selfies requirement. as stated i worked at that place for many years. it boils down to the simple fact that RMIS does not trust truckers...at all lol. Cooperate pretends to care about the carriers (truckers) but they ultimately don't as its Amazon, CH Robinson, JB Hunt, and the like that pay rmis not the truckers.
rmis company policy is never ever ever ever trust an insurance certificate unless it comes from the insurance provider. RMIS really isnt an essential company, megacorps just pay rmis to hold insurance certs because and run their websites cuz their too lazy to do that stuff internally.
the selfie thing is dumb but not unexpected. there was an incident years ago when i worked there (a homeless dude wandered into the parking lot and a female employee was scared by the man.) the owners mistress needed something to do so we all had to wear name tags with pictures of our faces on them to get into the building from then on.
likely this occurred cuz of a lawsuit or some kind of "extra sell" to squeze more money outta rmis/truckstops clients.Freddy57 Thanks this. -
A month later RMIS sends me an email stating for my own good, from now on RMIS will require a yearly copy of my DL, and selfies every time they talk to me. Well RMIS can go to hell with Highway. If companies that I haul for don't understand, they can join them. I am not giving them my DL or taking selfies to talk to them, for my own good! -

All I can say is I am glad I made relationships over the years. I was able to pick and choose who I would run for.
I am out now but wow o wow on these stupid insurance monitoring companies! I can't believe a carrier or broker would ever pay them a red cent when it is VERY easy to just see for yourself.
My actual insurance agent and agency was always available to email or fax in whatever a new to me customer would need.
FRMIS hard! Dirtbag middlemen always attempting to make themselves known and relevant while trying to sell services that no one needs.
And commiefornia based on top of it with commiefornia attitudes, work ethics, and thought processes.
Out of all of the things I ever dealt with in trucking....BELIEVE IT OR NOT......THEY stand out in my memories.Meonthenet and Lite bug Thank this. -
Actually I be alright without them!Mattflat362 Thanks this. -

Setting up with brokers using RMIS was usually a breeze, until recently. Last month I signed on with a broker via RMIS. As I was going through the screens, I noticed that the insurance they had for me was inaccurate. It was a totally different insurance company! I didn't have time to jump through the hoops that THEY created, so I just kept hitting the buttons and got set up. It was a good-paying load taking me where I wanted to be, so I wasn't going to risk losing it because of having to make a dozen phone calls and speaking to a dozen different idiots who would probably not know what to do.
I tried the truckstop loadboard for 1 month and then canceled because I felt it was absolute over-priced garbage. I wrote and called them to cancel, and they charged me for a second month anyway. After arguing with the wench, I ended up having to reverse the charges on my credit card.Mattflat362 Thanks this.
