    I was a huge fan of Truckstop (TS.) I was a member of the load board until TS started a dispatch service. I believe it a conflict of interest, siphoning off all the good loads before they hit the load board, giving them to the highest paying companies. Before the dispatch service, I used to recommend TS to everyone.

    Now RMIS wants ID’s and selfies!!!. “Your circle of trust is now stronger than ever!” “It’s for your protection!” “Thank you for your cooperation as we work to make RMIS and Truckstop the most trusted solutions in the freight industry!”

    Has TS/RMIS asked the other partners is this business (owners/drivers) what they think??? I believe TS/RMIS having my insurance certificate, and payment information/bank account should be ID enough! Funny how the globalists want ID’s and selfies all day! Whilst I travel around with tape on my cameras, TS wants me to give up my ID and post selfies for my own good. I will not comply!

    I know why they have the id/selfies requirement. as stated i worked at that place for many years. it boils down to the simple fact that RMIS does not trust truckers...at all lol. Cooperate pretends to care about the carriers (truckers) but they ultimately don't as its Amazon, CH Robinson, JB Hunt, and the like that pay rmis not the truckers.

    rmis company policy is never ever ever ever trust an insurance certificate unless it comes from the insurance provider. RMIS really isnt an essential company, megacorps just pay rmis to hold insurance certs because and run their websites cuz their too lazy to do that stuff internally.

    the selfie thing is dumb but not unexpected. there was an incident years ago when i worked there (a homeless dude wandered into the parking lot and a female employee was scared by the man.) the owners mistress needed something to do so we all had to wear name tags with pictures of our faces on them to get into the building from then on.

    likely this occurred cuz of a lawsuit or some kind of "extra sell" to squeze more money outta rmis/truckstops clients.

    I attempted to onboard with a company that uses "Highway" (same as RMIS.) Highway wanted a copy of my driver license, the login and password to my ELD account! I refused, Highway said okay you can give us copies of your DL, cab card, titles of your truck and trailers! Again I refused. I called the company directly, they understood and onboarded me directly. I wrote a few other companies that use Highway and asked if I could onboard directly and they responded; no. I wrote them, they should use RMIS and Assured Assist, as they're much more driver friendly. No ID's, ELD logins and passwords.

    A month later RMIS sends me an email stating for my own good, from now on RMIS will require a yearly copy of my DL, and selfies every time they talk to me. Well RMIS can go to hell with Highway. If companies that I haul for don't understand, they can join them. I am not giving them my DL or taking selfies to talk to them, for my own good!

    All I can say is I am glad I made relationships over the years. I was able to pick and choose who I would run for.

    I am out now but wow o wow on these stupid insurance monitoring companies! I can't believe a carrier or broker would ever pay them a red cent when it is VERY easy to just see for yourself.

    My actual insurance agent and agency was always available to email or fax in whatever a new to me customer would need.

    FRMIS hard! Dirtbag middlemen always attempting to make themselves known and relevant while trying to sell services that no one needs.

    And commiefornia based on top of it with commiefornia attitudes, work ethics, and thought processes.

    Out of all of the things I ever dealt with in trucking....BELIEVE IT OR NOT......THEY stand out in my memories.

    I had a good thing going for years. I'd start full time/busy around March, until the first week of July. Vacation for a couple weeks, then busy again until January. Pick off a few loads from the load-boards if I felt like it. Then repeat... I'd work mostly for two companies from March to January. Fill in now and then with a third if I felt like it, if it was slow. In 2022 the July to January gig, the broker/carrier lost the contract. The new broker/carrier offered me 1/3rd less. So that was gone. I worked a lot less, and more searching the load-boards. Thanks to Bidenomics, in 2023 the March to July gig was SLOW. I did about 1/4 of what I have in years. Others carriers that worked there got nothing! Seven loads a week, turned into one load for the whole month of June! 2023 was the worse year I ever had. The last thing I need right now is RMIS playing globalist games with ID's. I'll contract carry under some companies authority before I give any of these insurance monitoring companies a copy of my DL, or selfies! To hell with them all!

    Actually I be alright without them!

    I gave rmis my insurance contact information. They requested COI directly from my insurance company.

    I can send it all in myself on the website. No reason to wait for my insurance to deal with them when I can knock it out in 2 minutes.

    Setting up with brokers using RMIS was usually a breeze, until recently. Last month I signed on with a broker via RMIS. As I was going through the screens, I noticed that the insurance they had for me was inaccurate. It was a totally different insurance company! I didn't have time to jump through the hoops that THEY created, so I just kept hitting the buttons and got set up. It was a good-paying load taking me where I wanted to be, so I wasn't going to risk losing it because of having to make a dozen phone calls and speaking to a dozen different idiots who would probably not know what to do.

    I tried the truckstop loadboard for 1 month and then canceled because I felt it was absolute over-priced garbage. I wrote and called them to cancel, and they charged me for a second month anyway. After arguing with the wench, I ended up having to reverse the charges on my credit card.
