Look, I have nothing against you or JJ. As a matter of fact I actually like you guys. Haven't met you guys but you guys seem like good people. But calling someone BS without knowing for sure, when they are really telling the truth is BS itself. I was merely telling that guy asking questions how "I" was doing with MY FM. It has NO relation at all to how other drivers are doing with their FM. If you want me to not talk about how I am doing, then let me know... ill leave. Honestly, my typical week is like this... Wed afternoon, I get a 500 mile load to pick up 200 - 250 miles away that delivers Friday AM. Friday I get my weekend preset around 900 miles with a 100 mile deadhead that delivers Mon am, Monday afternoon another 500 mile load that delivers tues day late afternoon. Tuesday I get another one for 500 that delivers wedensday night. Usually the wed 99 i try to get them to take me early so I can turn the trip pack in before cutoff...A few receivers I cant get them to take me early like target, Fred Myers, P&G or McLane. I dont even bother with dispatch.

I have been in other companies that had a higher turnover years ago, like near 150%.. so been there done that and truthfully its all the same. At that rate, companies cant train new people fast and well enough to keep up. The new people will ALWAYS mess something up like having measurements off by 1 micrometer on a circuit board and cost the company millions so they get fired. The blame cant go 100% on the company. Only things the company be really blamed for is low pay, nepotism, reduction in force, unsafe operations, poor training (which can also go onto the employee)

I used to be a Sys Admin for a contract manufacturer until everyone in IT departments got laid off in 2001 couldnt get back into it because once companies started hiring again they wanted a BS degree for a job that only requires a certificate of proficiency. BS degree jobs then started requiring Masters degrees to make 60k/yr. If you have a Masters you should be making no less than 150k a year! You would not believe how many people were screwing up with the emails they send. Many emailed confidential info on customer products to the wrong person, looking at porn at work, insider trading and the list goes on.

In the case with central, did you see how many ####### Central drivers there are out there lately? Alot dont even know how to use the qualcomm. Some dont know how to chain up. Some pull over at the sign of a few snow flurries and then service failing all winter. I saw one nearly jack knife in a 4 wheeler gas station. I was on the street blocking traffic while he was working to get out (was even thinking of getting his truck out for him just so I can leave). Some dont know how to slide tandems or their 5th wheel. Hell a couple weeks ago we had 3 or 4 rollovers in 1 week. This list also goes on...

So again, I'm sorry if I offended you guys because I'm not having the same experiences as you. I'm not doing great but I'm not doing bad either.

Well finish the first run for the pay period at my second load, and I am preset all the way to Monday. Can not load here until tomorrow and have never been here before. Looks like they only have two docks and trucks lined up. Little town called Corunna, Michigan. I love being preset like this, don't have to worry about night and weekend dispatch. Keep on truckin and be safe out there.

You read that wrong... McLane had certain receiving times. They first load/unload their own trucks in their docks first and when their done they unload carriers. McLanes never take early unless you have something they desperately need in your load. McLane was one of my exceptions that I can talk into taking early...

I love Americold shuttles could do without the caves though but they take you once you check in or shortly after. Kraft shuttles are mostly drop and hook. Walmart will take early depending on how busy they are that day.

Presets just came in..203 mile about 100 miles away going to arlington TX, then a 1400 mile from Ft Worth to chatsworth, ca.

ah ha i get to call bs on this one it is not 1400 miles from ft worth tx to chatsworth ga ft w to atl is 812 miles and chatsworth is about 50 miles north of atlanta up i 75 i know i ran ft worth to atl on the kraft fleet many many many times. oh crap that does say chatsworth california dont it. crap now i gotta retract my bs call. silly me so sorry.........
