I wish it was El Paso. Clint said something about pig iron to Eastland TX. And yikes on that steer tire! Good catch. I got a trailer tire I’m not crazy about. I wouldn’t think much about it, but it’s a rear outside, and I don’t want that sucker grenading on me while there’s 26 ton stood up on it.

 

when pulling a frame end dump trailer does the fifth wheel on truck need to be pinned like when pulling a frameless trailer?thanks

I’ve pulled long frames where I work over the years and have always dumped the bags, not sure if that’s the right info, but that’s how I do it.

 

On the trailer? Yes always dump the air bags. It’s more stable and you won’t hyper-extend them or risk blowing them out.

 

Probably just going to go ahead and change my mailing address to the salt mine.

 

Put some Poo Pellets on the ground this evening, camped out in Hope Hull AL this evening, load rock in the morning and head back south.

 

Rock to Hutchinson KS and then feed salt to some farm in Missouri. I hate winter.
