I have to agree, but I like pretty much everything they have on a pizza, except the little fishes I can't handle those.

Was gonna say...."That looks like my place". However, fortunately for me, I have a Hazul, and she was on it.

Unlicensed meter and panel have been attached. That 4/0 wire is stiff as a minister’s dick. County inspector is coming sometime today, to inevitability fail my inspection. In the meantime the ghost shield floor sealer showed up. But it’s too cold to apply it.

Well, I don't know about your part of the country, but in my part of the country, you can hire a licensed electrician to inspect and certify the install, (maybe $100), and you're good to go.

Sorta like an outside CDL tester. We’ve seen how that has worked out.

We don’t have that luxury here. The county man has to come out. Furthermore, there is no online resource specifying what the county wants. They also don’t provide any information at the building codes office. I’m pretty sure they are trying to discourage people from not hiring a licensed electrician.

    That’s UN-American.

Maybe just trying to help keep people employed? But hey if you can do it yourself why not save a few bucks.

When I built mine in Twin I called for an inspector and had to leave a message— I figured F’it when there wasn’t no response and moved on— a year later he showed up and Red Tagged it and told the other half we’d have to tear down— I took his Red Tag to his office in person and politely told him that when he starts making the mortgage on the place I might listen but until then he could insert the Red Tag in his anal orifice — ended up paying about $100 and never heard another word— STAY STRONG!!!

I figured once I got the all clear for Duke to hook up the juice I’m not calling him again. It’s a shop, so a certificate of occupancy doesn’t really concern me much. But Duke won’t come out until the county says they can.
