Yes they do and they also make a anti siphon device that goes inside the tanks. A lot of companies are using them now like Marten and some FFE truck's have them. Fuel theft is actually pretty high these day's and it's mostly O/O's stealing it out of company truck's because of the high fuel prices along with fuel tax invasion. Both companies I have listed also have the anti siphon devices on their reefer's also.

My 3rd trip ever in my own truck, I stopped for the night in Hope, AR. My head barely hit the pillow when the room phone rang...the off-duty Hope PD detective who was moonlighting as a hotel security guard had caught someone trying to steal my fuel. If they got anything before they were caught, it wasn't much.
Funniest part about it, though, is that when the cops searched the truck incident to the arrest, they found a bunch of booze in the cab...

So, not only did they get charged with the felony attempted theft over $500...but they also were charged with illegal transportation of alcohol in a CMV....and since Hope is in a dry county and the amount of alcohol exceeded the allowable quantity, they also got hit with bootlegging charges, too.
I ordered locking fuel caps the next morning. They won't prevent a thief from getting your fuel if they really want it...but it may deter them enough to seek an easier target. -
Yea, it won't stop them but it will keep an honest man honest.

It's easier to just poke a hole in the bottom of your tank and let it drain out anyway..

Got no use for a thief.I will break some fingers with my 2lb. ball peen hammer if I catch someone stealing my -or your- fuel.
I know this happens but haven`t seen it firsthand yet.Have a friend who got ripped for about 100 gallons near Houston recently.Whoever did that should be thankful he didn`t catch them. -
those anti-syphon things are garbage, it is easy to poke a hole in them.
The best locking fuel caps are made by a company in Quebec Canada, called Robond, they are not like regular locking fuel caps that come from the dealers which can be pryed off, these things are heavy duty and when they are locked will just spin so they cannot be pryed off.
Just google Robond fuel tank locks, or punch in robond.com, I have them on my trucks and they are expensive but I wouldn't park my trucks anywhere without them. -
Wow, $100 a piece.
But I guess it's worth it to make sure you dont get screwed over! -
It happened to me at the Loves in Joseph City, Az, 2 years ago. I heard a loud what I thought was an APU in the middle of the night and turned over. I should have gotten up and caught the #$&^%$#'s. They emptied my driver side tank. I then rigged up an eye bolt in the cap and ran a steel cable through the eye bolt with padlock. Very cheap as opposed to expensive locking caps.

Had someone try to steal my fuel at the TA in Shreveport a few years ago. I was in the bunk when I heard him, i slowly made in over to the drivers door and slung the door open, I startled him and he tried to duck under the trailer next to me hitting his head in the process and knocking himself out. He was still half out of it when the Law showed up and carted him off.
