Ok, here is what your dealing with.. Christian, owner, a short little guy with a lot to prove. He has no problem paying for expensive watches or a jacked up pick up truck.. but if he had to pay for a repair, he whines and complains.. he also doesn't want to pay his drivers. The dude doesn't want to pay for anything that doesn't make him look like a big important man. He also has the Rio grande valley mindset. A lot of people down here hire illegals and mistreat them. So Christian thinks that because you drive for him that makes you his ##### to order around and you have to play to his ego to keep your job..oh and your not allowed a personal life.. here is where things get funny.. this dude sucks as an owner. He #####es nonstop about getting more days on the road, but then he books too much weight on his refer trailer and every shipper has to unload and adjust the weight. Which eats up a day's service hours anf causes loads to come close to being late. It takes me no less than 6 hours past my scheduled time to load cause they have to load me twice snd as long as 8 hours.. and when he complains that the truck isn't making enough money and point that out.. he gets pissy because in his mind he is the greatest business owner of all time and you pointing out he runs a sloppy organization is an insult to him. Even though I am just a team player trying to help him streamline our work together. So we can both make money.

Now beware, this guy is full of hustle and expects you to run illegal by turning off the elogs. Then when he is about to not pay you and hire someone else, he will tell you he is too busy to pay you and he will efs your wages to you but he needs the truck back out on the road as fast as possible. Don't buy none of that crap.. if he don't pay you, don't go back out.. as I write this, the dude owes me $2150 that was supposed to be paid two days ago. So I might be getting ripped off.. then I gotta file a workforce claim and sue for back wages, legal fees, and damages. That always takes a good 6 months to a year.

The equipment is a international prostar with 740,000 miles.. no fridge, no inverter, no nothing. You are bare bones in this truck. The trailer is nice but the refer keeps shutting down as I drive down the road.. the system has a bug in it.. so I gotta stop before I deliver and watch it for an hour to get the temp right before I pull in to deliver.. otherwise, I'm pulling over every 100 miles to reset the refer unit.. one thing I like is he removed all the emissions controls. So no def or Regen problems. Also very illegal ..

Dot has this guys number, he gets audited frequently and then we all get a text telling us what we need to do now.... He pays .45/mile.. a flat $30 detention fee.. although I never got it even though the freight brokers told me they were going to pay him for an 8 hour past my confirmed time to unload..

So yeah, typical user and abuser of drivers that thinks we are all ######## that should be thankful of him providing a job bs. he expects the world to cater to him, ignores the laws, doesn't want to pay, expects you to be his whipping boy.. and runs a sloppy, very unorganized business. He claims he is successful, but talks like he is out of prison. So I'm guessing this is a cartel front or cartel got him started. There is no way this guy built a business on his own.. when there is a problem, he three ways you with another driver cause he doesn't know anything about the trucks. I thought the dispatcher was new cause I always had to ask for pick up numbers and other key info for the pick up. She overloads me, takes a full 24 hours between unloaded to get me a new load.

I'll keep you posted how this goes.. I tried to help him , cut my home time short, try to get earlier deliveries so the truck can move on to the next contract as fast as possible. I did try to tell him how to get my next load faster and to not overload me.. but I am just supposed to be a dumb driver and he is supposed to be the all knowing epitamy of perfection.. the owner being recognized as the head man is all that matters to Christian Pineda.. andand thathes a shorty that is too proud to take advice from a seasoned driver... being penny smart, dollar stupid, and ghetto rich is what you'll be micromanaged by..
