Yes you can have one installed in it. No idea how much it will cost. I was going to tell you to give Al at Sparky's a call but I see your from Canada and he doesn't ship up there because of customs hassles.

Yea i had went by as i said i would man are those guys good took him all of 5 minutes to find and fix my power problem the solder had broken off on the board and at the same time i changed my mic and picked up an astatic he also peeked my radio these guys are great

...and yet again i say...
By the time you spend the money on that radio to have it installed you could have gotten a new Magnum S3!You know that the top gun crap is nothing more than a glorified swing kit/mod kit don't you?
Does everyone know what a swing kit does? Causes you to over modulate.
Does everyone know what over modulation does to the sound quality of your radio? Makes you sound like trash!
Do what you want to....but your pissing your money away for nothing, and cb techs all across the Nation are laughing all the way to the bank! -
yea i agree i didnt end up getting a modulator put in i just got my power problem fixed and had it tuned for the meantime till i can get a magnum i'm not by any means spending anymore than i have to though i just wanted it working half decent for the meantime and the mic i had was a peice of crap road king

Forget the magnum. For what you'll pay for a magnum you can get you a nice amp and run behind that 959 and it'll be blowing smoke.

I forgot to tell you..
You know those high power Magnum radios like the 175 watt versions with the built in amp on the bottom of the radio? Magnum sells that as an add on kit for just about any export radio. Now that would be the way to go! Magnum is a good radio but they have alot of white noise in the receive, this is an inherent problem with the Magnum and Stryker radios so the add on amp to your Galaxy may be a really good way to go.The last Galaxy i had like yours, the receive was crystal clear....any time...all the time.
May be something to think about.....and if you run out to Cali or Ohio i can tell you a good shop that can do this upgrade. I'm extremely pickie about who i let work on my radios so if i tell you that they are good, you can be sure that they are.
