While do diesel 4-wheelers always idle their pickups??

Because I love hearing my VGT whistle through the straight pipe on high idle

 

The same reason they modify their exhaust to make them stupid loud.

I idle my gas trucks too, not getting back into a hot/cold truck when I’m done

 

I don't have a diesel pickup, but honestly I enjoy listening to them rumbling.
If I ever get one, I see myself sitting outside by my garage in the summer, drinking beer and just enjoying the sound of a running diesel lol
(I do hate aftermarket exhausts though).

 

They work perfectly for me with a newer Ford. Never spill a drop.

My brother in law with a GMC can't use them. Same for my sister and her diesel Yukon. Something about how GM does the venting on their capless fill system causes them to spit back fuel all over with the high flow pumps.

 

My faith in humanity is so low I lock my truck while putting gas in it.

You and I both. I've never understood the need to intentionally ride around blasting a horn in everyone's face.
