    This is what I really believed happened..I can not swear to it.I was supposed to be a city driver. but dispatch sent me to California via phoenix AZ.Anyway the cracker- heads "The owners son" kept putting more pickups and drops on me than I could legally run and when I told them I would be about 18 hours late to my delivery back east the bosses son over loaded me with freight on purpose then told me I would be OK at the scales in California so he could make a point."You Know" I'll get you back and you'll have too pay a ticket too . Of course California liked that idea and gave me a misdemeanor weight ticket.So now all you super truckers can tell me how I should handle this. Any D.O.T. cop replies are welcome!!!

    Pay the ticket as if you hand it to that "cracker head"and he doesn't pay it your arse is grass the next time you get pulled over! Give him the receipt and if he doesn't pay it I hope you kept copies of all BOL's and fuel receipts and send them to the nearest DOT office and let them do what they want and make sure daddy's boy knows what yu did!

    Next time head back to the shipper with a weight ticket and tell them to remove enough freight to make you legal. The truck doesn't move without you. Sounds to me like getting fired from this job might be a good thing.

    Sounds like your one of those super truckers that have been sucking up! Your the kind of drivers that make it difficult for those whose who follow. Be a Man!! P.S How is your oxygen tank.

    You are going to have to pay it yourself, otherwise if you give it to your company and they will not pay it, you will end up with a suspended license.
    Most likely you will have to go to Cali for court on the charge since they did it as a misdemeanor.
    I would have scaled it and then brought it back to the last shipper and had product taken off the truck to make it legal. But since that time has past it is a little late.
    If you have any correspondence from your company showing that they wanted you go run heavy then you will need that in court.
    I think what irritated a few drivers was the "super trucker" comment.
