I just thought I read that somewhere. It didn't make any sense to me either. No biggie.

Are steer tires used on big rigs only?

no. if a trailer has a flat tire and a good used steer tire is available it will be used if need be. even a drive tire can have a steer tire if there is a need and an "ordinary" drive tire is not available. you just would n't want any typical drive tire for a steer tire for too long a period of time. it might make for some vibrations or noise, but it should still get you to the next available place for repairs. plus, many drive tires are recaps, and recaps aren't allowed on steer axles, except in emergencies.

All I see is the walmart truck. I think my computer won't let me see the other picture, I guess. I see a little white box with an x. My configs must be messed with.

I don't think it's your computer, RBPC. In order to post a photo here, you must link the image to the location of the picture. (There are websites, such as photobucket, where you can store pictures on-line to share with others.) If the initial poster removed the photo from his storage, or changed the location of the picture, we will no longer be able to view it through the link provided. Hence, the dreaded red X.

This is not uncommon on older threads as some people have limits on available storage space on free photo hosting sites and will remove the older photos. Maybe Truckin Juggalo still has the picture on his PC and will re-post for us... or it could just be gone.

    Sorry!

    Thanks Ducks! </MARQUEE>
Let's see if I can recreate the scenerio. I wish I was better at computer literacy. Well, at least remembering some of the stuff, anyway.
