"Feels a little chauvinistic".
Actually, it doesn't. Gender differences aren't feelings, but a reality.
Here's a difference we can all feel, and that is problem solving. Men are problem solvers and here's how we do that:

Reason for edit: remembering words is hardbryan21384 Thanks this. -
That was entertaining lol. However, not all men are problem solvers, as we've seen on here repeatedly. Also, not every woman is incapable of solving problems. This ain't the 1950s or whichever decade that a woman couldn't survive without a man around. Hell many male drivers whine more than the women out here. Many fellas won't even change a mudflap, and they'd rather call the company. So in trucking, I'd say the biggest gender differences would be the anatomy. Truck drivers for the most part are a whiny bunch and unadaptable.Numb, 201 and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.

Maybe.....it's a matter of perspective. I've seen with my own eyes repeatedly of male drivers that put up with BS. See "Report A Bad Trucking Company" lol

Nice how this thread has progressed. Very adult attitudes here.
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
Adults can be so boring.

It didn’t start with an adult attitude.austinmike, Flat Earth Trucker and tscottme Thank this.

Not all trucks can startup and drive. That obvious fact doesn't mean trucks and minivans carry equal amounts of freight.
Should your statement about "... many male drivers whine more than the women out here" be ignored because someone can find 1 male driver who doesn't whine more than any women?
Your argument is suggesting one exception disproves a rule. Emotional thinking is a swamp and prevents wisdom.Last edited: Mar 18, 2025

Male peacocks are more colorful than females. Females peahens lay eggs. Both are true, both demonstrate blatant and intenional gender bias. NOBODY'S or EVERYBODY'S feelings do not changes what is true.
When someone says EVERY man is less emotional or less tolerant than EVERY woman, your point would be accurate. NOBODY made that statement, but you read that into the statement to avoid recognizing his generalization was accurate and to allow you to argue a point you've made before in life. Not all generalizations are true, but all generalizations have AT LEAST a grain of truth, if they are not usually true. 1 imagined or real exception to a generalization does not make the generalization false. More people get wet walking when it rains than when it's not raining. Pointing out carrying an open umbrella over you while walking in the rain lessens how wet you get doesn't make "more people get wet walking when it rains" less true.wis bang and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.
