    You do realize that getting anything in writing isn't worth the paper it's written on right? You are an at will employee and they can change the terms and conditions of anything at any time.

    That's a fair point, but the purpose of seeing it on paper isn't so he can sue if they change it six months from now, it's to make sure that what he's being told is actually the truth right now, not just some lie a recruiter's telling to get him to orientation. But you're still correct, even that's not a guarantee. Schneider changed my pay for tanker training one week after I started.
