This is why you never EVER give notice to a trucking company when you quit
You can say you have a family emergency and need to get home right away and ask for a load near home terminal
or schedule a vacation and leave the truck at the terminal and that way you might even get your last paycheck
Need advice ASAP, Company won't get me back to the yard.

FYI they did threaten to call the police when I said I was just going to deadhead to their terminal even when I said I would pay for fuel.
