SSB at least your truck isnt set up keeping you at speed limit yet. Set cruise more than 1 or 2 mph above limit and it shuts off telling you to take over. If on back roads and limit is 40 it will go to 40 quit pulling deop to 37 or 38 then speed up to 39-40 and repeat unles cruise is set. It wont let you run steady 40 on foot

It will be interesting to see what your typical weekly total ends up being over say a quarter. I really don’t see any large operation running drivers more than say 2800 to 3100 miles a week anymore, but maybe you’re situation will be different.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

You might be thinking of Hermiston, OR. Grandview is off of 82. There is a Love's not far from there towards YakamaBumper and drvrtech77 Thank this.

in the last 10 days I’ve gone from Texas to Nebraska to Utah to Ohio back to Indiana now back to Washington… I can say one thing in SSB has mentioned it as well even when we get the short run, they don’t have a whole lot of time on that for the most part. They really had the load planning down pretty good over here and if there’s a load where something gets delayed on it and appointment gets pushed out, they waste no time at all, dropping it at a yard…
motocross25, Lonesome, Winnyf1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
It takes fuel to haul fuel. I wrenched for a flatbed outfit that had 60 Volvo midroofs back in the early 90's. They had dual 150gal tanks and were heavy already....owner asked the guys not to fill them up before loading, he was tired of them being overweight and paying fines / having to refuse loads. They didn't listen, so Pete, the owner, sat at the entrance to the yard and started grabbing them as they entered and took them to the welding shop and had them relocate the fuel neck halfway down the tank, between the steps.....after about 10 trucks had that done, amazingly the others fell in line.
Knucklehead, High Stepper, motocross25 and 3 others Thank this. -
yeah, it has been awhile since I was up there. So what are you using for a home terminal now?
-
Deland for now. I hear they're gonna have an additional terminal in Lakeland by the end of the year. Since I live on the western side of the peninsula, I imagine they'll put me over there...which I don't think I'll like, I get along well with the terminal manager in Deland along with the 2 new assistants. The #2 manager and I work together ok, but we'll never be bestiesmotocross25, Lonesome, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this.

Maybe Tonn will rehire Miss T .....

the listed hometime on their website seems like an archaic practice though. 14 days out and you only get 2 off? Even Schneider gave you 3
