I am a new CDL A driver / student as of Aug 2006. After finally selling my business I am going back to school today for the next 4 weeks for a refresher. Then I hope to sign on with US Glenmoore. I am told by Glenmoore after training I can do an Atlantic Coastal run. Phila, PA thru Florida and over to TN then home on weekends. Anyone else ever do a run like this? From what I understand this almost sounds like a regional route that with most companies is hard to get right after training.

I drove with my husband for USF Glen Moore. He is still with them as a national driver. He's been with them for 4 years now and is very satisfied with them. They've been very good to us, particularly the Driver Manager (dispatcher.)TThey never lied to us and they always got us home when we wanted. Benefits are great too. They started the Atlantic coast runs about a year ago, and is different from the regional runs cause you aren't going to as many states. A fella named Walter is the DM out of Carlisle PA, for those drivers running the Atlantic coast runs. Hes young, intelligent, and really, does a good job. (I'm not sure if they have a DM for the Atlantic Drivers at the Knoxville terminal or not.)Glen Moore is a hidden jewel . I think you will be pleased.

I just talked to them myself today and want to go to work for them. Got an application emailed to me and will fax it back tomorrow morning. Only place so far that actually said they could give me a regional position after orientation and initial training. International 9400 tractors with 10sp manual, 2005 model and newer.

To all interested in usf glen moore....If your thinking this is a good company think again!!!!!!! Just left them....Tired of sitting around in parking lots doing nothing for no pay...Southeast regional is little more than a joke.If thay need a load moved dont matter how long you been on the road, dont matter if you just got home for time off, thay will call your phone and drive you crazy till you do what ever it is thay want and then you can go set again at your favorite truck stop till when ever.....The only good in this company is the insurance which is excellent. The terminal manager in knoxville is so job scared he will do nothing to help you when you need it.Thay do orientation 2 times a week in carlise pa and knoxville tn so this should tell you that their retention rate is most likely one of the lowest in the business....Equipment is really nice and well taken care of for the most part....goood luck
Baack Thanks this.
