That's why we love it down there. Wish I could have posted a YouTube video of one old FL guy. A 6 or 7' gator was invading his camp site, and instead of running, he beat it over the head with his cast iron frying pan and chased it back in the water.

Still not sure how this load shifted like it did, this load was all leaning forward like the shipper didn't push the freight up to the very front of the trailer...Friend, Lonesome, hotrod1653 and 4 others Thank this. -
I stand corrected, the guy was Australian not Floridian

I'll be the first to admit I can be difficult and often contradict myself among other things but at least I can say I'm actually a truck driver...Lonesome, austinmike, hotrod1653 and 5 others Thank this. -

Drop and hooked at Opelika Wally. Had to do a 8/2 split so I could get the load to Wally by the time they wanted. Made it to my McDonough shipper, dropped my trailer and hooked to my load. Reefer has a fuel level sensor alarm (3/4+ on the gauge) plus, it has a flat tire off the bead so the auto inflate system won't pump it up, plus I am on a pharmaceutical load, so it has to travel at least 200 miles before I stop, so breakdown has a tire shop coming to me. By the time he gets here and gets it fixed, I may not have enough hours to comply with the 200 mile requirement.
motocross25, Rugerfan and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Lonesome and Knucklehead Thank this.

This may sound crazy but I've had them seat by just driving them. It's counterintuitive but perhaps the centrifugal force holds the wall of the tire against the rim. Something to try next time.
kylefitzy, motocross25 and ncmickey Thank this. -
