Do they pull medical records like doctor visits during dot physical

    It looks like you don't need a medical to drive intrastate either. With a K restriction.

    No. They report the failed exam in the system (I'm assuming the state and the DOT see the entry eventually). Cops will also see on their computers that your DOT medical is invalid once the info makes it to the state. I just don't know how fast that happens. It could be minutes or weeks.

    In my case, it was the time it took to drive to the other side of town. I passed and was just driving over to the DMV to update my license. When I got there, they said they already had it.

    We're not talking about a failed exam.

    We're talking about losing regular driving privileges immediately. As one poster posted 2 days ago.
