At my previous employer we had Drivewyse on our Peoplenet tablets for the last four years. It worked a handful of times (now my location was extremely dysfunctional so probably a lot of it was on the company side)

I was running a lot of Texas and there are few PrePass locations there compared to Drivewyze. It seemed like most Texas scales have Drivewyze and I rarely had to pull into any Texas scales. Don't know about any other states outside of Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana because i don't go there.

Drivewyze sucks donkey nuts.. get bypassed less than 50% of the time... the app glitches out so bad.. for some reason it always makes me pull in when I'm empty or really light, then the scale house gives me the bypass lane arrow. Really dumb... never had any of that crap happen with prepass because I always got bypassed, plus it worked with the toll road scanners as well

We were getting red lighted on that “Drivewyze” constantly for about a month, so some idiot must’ve got a hazmat violation somewhere. That’s since backed off now and I’m back to hearing that Super Mario Bros. 1UP mushroom noise.

Prepass now has a companion app that does pretty much the same thing as Drivewyze with non-transponder locations. You just have to have access to the account for your in-cab unit to link them together.

it takes my tablet too long to reboot every day, and then I have to remember my pin number to sign back on. If that's what it takes every day to make it work, I'll just disable it on the tablet and pay for Prepass out of my own pocket.

we have to scan in our paperwork thru the company app only, and it has to have permission for the camera in order to work. No permission settings changed after the update. Plus it looks different after you snap the pic, and it added the tag 'document' beside each page you scan in (that you can't change). Looks like I start using the app on the company tablet. That way if I forget to delete the pics, it sucks up the memory on the company's equipment.

Something new happened with this company's POS Co-pilot app "warning screen" yesterday(or maybe it was Drivewyze again) I was coming thru @Bumper's neck of the woods and the yellow warning screen popped up, telling me about a winter storm warning in my area with possible snow and ice. WTFF? I stopped at the truck only rest area for a potty break and checked the forecast, there is nothing weather-wise like that even close to anywhere on my route. The company supplied software has lost it's ever loving mind. I wish I could delete Co-pilot and Drivewyze all together.

Had no idea PrePass had a companion app to unit. Will have to check that out.

    Thank you for mentioning that.

The company needs to start a fuel points system like the truck stops. I had 2 fuel stops on this load to PA. Marietta and Mechanicsburg. Just give us a penny per gallon credit to use at the company store.

They should do that with Trailer inspections. Each inspection is so much in store credit.
Heck! I’ve got so many dang safety points,I can afford a roll over in a construction zone.
