I am leased to one of their competitors, but have talked to them in the past and the revenue is definitely there to make an excellent living. I have several friends and former co-workers who work there currently in Indiana-Illinois and are extremely happy with the revenue/pay. Your income will be dictated by how well you take to Carhauling and if you are cut out for it. $150,000 plus is definitely achievable eventually by those who have the skills and work ethic.

Yes that is fairly common in carhaul, but you will want the phone numbers of veteran carhaulers in your area because not every hotel that takes the CLC card has adequate parking for a 90’ carhauler. You will learn the best hotels to stay at in time with help from your co-workers.

Generally you can trust the dealership’s instructions on what entrance to use and where to unload in a “18 wheel tractor and trailer carhauler” be specific because they get roll off 1car carhaulers also and they don’t need a specific entrance. The hotels you can sometimes trust if you get very specific with them, but to some desk clerks a U-Haul and a 90’ carhauler are the same thing.

Always call ahead but make Google maps your friend. It's easy to see if what you're told makes sense. Oil stains usually mark the unloading area. Also, expect a lot of unloading in the road.

Google maps satelite iv been using it since 2012 when my rand mcnally gps started freezing
Do you have to look for every car when you are at an auction?
    This could take hours
Also does united have enclosed trailers?
Did u ever get a ticket for unloading on the street?

Most of the larger auctions put trackers in the cars. You scan the gate pass and it will show you pretty accurately where the car is on the lot. I imagine UR would have them pulled or pay for a car puller for you.
I have been threatened with a ticket several times but never received any. Best bet is ask your coworkers where to load and unload .
