'Rust' armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed released from prison after serving full sentence

Alec Baldwin said the gun just "went off".. and revolver, BTW. Never seen a gun just go off by itself. In other words he lied.

 

First thing my kids learned in hunter safety: NEVER POINT A GUN AT SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO KILL.

With the technology and special effects available today, there is no reason to EVER point a gun at another person, unless you are willing to kill them.

 

same as when a gun owner (me for example) NEVER has live ammo on my cleaning/repair bench. its just "so easy" to smack a mag full of ammo when done.

same when i am reloading my own ammo, NO gun is at the reloading bench.

ignorance all around on the set.

 

unless he pulled back that hammer, a revolver (on average) takes about 16 pounds of pull to shoot.

had the hammer been pulled back..??

then not even few ounces of pull and they go "bang"...some "might" call that a hair trigger.

so i am guessing he pulled back that hammer.
