Looks like he was coming down the highway 97? That hill can sneak up on you for sure. But looks like he was on opposite lanes and swerved at last second...probably watching Netflix movie

My uninformed guess is smoked the brakes coming down the long grade right before that. Sarcastic me wants to know if he blew through the light at the bottom of the hill right before the curve and crash site.

 

I'm wondering the same exact things.. definatly had way to much speed to be coming out of the truckstops there..
