I met this gas hauler recently on my regular layover walking from the hotel to my dinner spot. He retired recently and now his son is driving his rig. I spoke with him for quite a while last week and he was the caliber person I expected after seeing seeing his quality equipment, shop and home for many years.Geronimo17, The_vett, broke down plumber and 8 others Thank this.

It would be a Monday, lost site of the trailer half way up with better than half a load of shell still in there, then had to leave it up and commence to do at least a 6 point turn to get out of this. Ridiculous, these landscape places in FL have no clue, it takes one falling over for them to get one!

A braver man than me, wriggling about with half a load still up top?

A short jerk dead straight to loosing things up was all I would risk, and even then a certain part of my anatomy would be clenched really tightly.
Still, you came out the other side without a disaster, so fair play to you. I'm just happy and grateful that you resisted the urge to treat us to a video of the operation.

@Spardo the load was out of the nose it’s just the characteristics of the shell, it doesn’t pile up, there’s so much of it in there you've got to drag it out forever to get it gone, Ive been doing this a lot of years and I was nervous, I don’t usually get nervous.

I’ve been in that situation once with a 30’ framed steel body trying to get a load of mulch out on a cold morning. I was no more good for a while.
