Wonderful. I just went through the express lanes in DFW. I'll let you guys know how much it cost me. Heading into Houston tomorrow. I'll be sure to try to avoid the tolls. It's bad there too.

Didn't you know? They get a free pass. You only pay if you're American.

I did reach out to bestpass. The lady who responded to my email first claimed she could verify the toll and rate was accurate. Then she was not sure. She said that even they do not know how to calculate the tolls, and they can't find anywhere themselves for a truck driver to determine what the tolls will be. So, I guess in VA they just charge whatever they want to on any given day? She did mention the multiplier thing, but again, its a foreign language she is speaking if you have no idea what the "multiplier" is, when its applied, or what the toll will be for traveling on their toll road around Alexandria, VA.

I can tell you that DFW is NOT as bad as VA, for sure.

DOT must read these pages…base tolls on the big bucks the gold chainers claim to be earning.

Have big trucks always been allowed on the toll roads? I thought maybe not since the electronic sign said "TRUCK ALLOWED", I am certain if they put "$500 toll" beside that, people would be crashing to avoid getting on the #### toll road at all costs.

Im not familiar with toll roads that dont allow big trucks..I only used PA, Illinois and NY toll roads…NY toll road was handy cuz i would frequently be way heavy from NYC to Hamilton On. I recall PA was pricey decades ago…
